- Coverage Zones: Full coverage within Nairobi County, plus immediate commuter hubs (Kiambu, Thika, Syokimau, Rongai).
- Timelines: Same-day dispatch execution is guaranteed for orders completely placed and verified via M-Pesa before 10:00 AM. Orders incoming past the cutoff roll over to the following business morning.
- Handling Mechanism: Hand-delivered directly via localized dedicated courier networks to keep frozen purees solid upon handoff.
🚛 Upcountry Kenya
- Coverage Zones: Major urban shipping lanes including Mombasa, Eldoret, Nakuru, Kisumu, and regional hub stations across Kenya.
- Timelines: Delivered within 24 to 48 hours depending on your localized distance away from centralized fulfillment nodes.
- Fulfillment Method: Dispatched via partner transport courier fleets. Customers are issued a tracking code/waybill number instantly upon courier handoff.
2. Frozen & Perishable Product Disclaimers
Because our Frozen Avocado Purees are processed naturally without industrial stabilizer chemicals or artificial synthetic preservatives, maintaining precise cold chain protocols is strictly mandatory.
⚠️ Critical Frozen Goods Handling Agreement
Please read the following rules thoroughly prior to finalizing your online checkout queue:
- Nairobi Delivery Hand-Off: It is the buyer's sole obligation to guarantee an adult is physically present at the chosen destination address to receive the delivery. Frozen products must be placed into a deep freezer unit at -18°C immediately upon arrival.
- Upcountry Frozen Limitations: Due to extreme transit temperature fluctuations over extended road routes, cold chain logistics for Frozen Avocado Puree are limited to major towns with overnight shipping links. We accept zero liability for product degradation if upcountry courier pickup is delayed by the customer.
- Immediate Inspection Requirement: Any transit structural discrepancies or thawing issues must be filed with our customer service help desk within 2 hours of receipt, accompanied by high-resolution imagery.
- Forfeiture of Liability: Afriavo assumes no operational or financial responsibility for packages that spoil due to missing delivery attempts, incorrect phone contacts, or prolonged storage inside ambient-temperature reception rooms.
3. Shipping Costs & Self-Collection Details
Delivery charges are automatically computed at your web checkout step, based directly on weight parameters and precise drop-off coordinates. If you prefer to bypass delivery shipping costs entirely, you can choose the self-collection method at checkout. Your items will be bundled and ready for pickup at our central Nairobi warehouse facility within regular warehouse working hours, free of charge.
