How It's Made & Sourced

Discover the science behind our industry-pioneering freeze-dried processing technology and the regional logistics engine driving our year-round global supply matrix.

The Freeze-Drying Process Explainer

Unlike traditional dehydration systems that use high heat to cook out fluid, freeze-drying works via sublimation. We flash-freeze 100% real fresh fruit and lower surrounding pressure, allowing water to evaporate instantly from ice to vapor. This advanced technique retains up to 98% of original micro-nutrients, colors, and enzymes without ever needing artificial additives, chemical preservatives, or added sugar.

1

Sourcing & Grading

Premium grade fresh fruits are harvested at optimal ripeness directly from certified smallholder orchards.

2

Flash Freezing

Fruit slices are chilled rapidly to sub-zero temperatures, locking structural shapes and essential nutrients in place.

3

Vacuum Sublimation

Inside low-pressure chambers, gentle heat transforms moisture crystals into vapor without damaging the cell walls.

4

Sealed Moisture Protection

Crisp, intensely flavorful 100% real fruit segments are nitrogen-flushed into air-tight packaging for premium shelf stability.

Our 52-Week Supply Continuity Program

Agricultural patterns vary cross-border. To prevent inventory depletion, empty shelves, or seasonal price shocks, Afriavo manages a highly coordinated regional cross-border shipping dynamic.

When domestic picking cycles in Kenya conclude, our procurement routes smoothly shift to peak regional partner zones. This gives commercial importers, hotel supply managers, and distribution hubs total predictability over their operations year-round.

Seamless Cross-Border Logistics

By synchronizing custom clearances and cold chains across East Africa, your global supply chain stays resilient, predictable, and 100% uninterrupted.
